I am honored to teach for Space Between in Seattle area schools and community programs. I have also co-created a children’s yoga program and teach at Aditi Yoga and Wellness Center in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood.
My teaching style is thoughtful, heart-centered and eclectic, and my offerings include:
Kids Yoga (Toddlers through Teens) – Age-appropriate instruction of breathing methods, poses, meditation, rest and relaxation, chanting and mudras with the use of music, props, games, stories, creative movement and lots of fun!
Family Yoga – Make yoga a family affair. It’s a beautiful way to bond while collectively learning breathing techniques, meditation, movement with games and music, and rest and relaxation.
Yoga Nidra – Guided meditation to encourage “yogic sleep”, a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. This practice has been attributed to reduced stress, anxiety and tension.
Chair Yoga – Accessible and safe yoga with the use of chairs for people who may have physical limitations due to injury, surgery, pregnancy, a health condition, age or limited practice space. It’s a great way to build flexibility, strength and calm.
Yoga with a Therapeutic Focus – As a retired occupational therapist, I approach instruction from a therapeutic frame of reference. I am certified in sensory integration and include this perspective in my teaching also.
Special Events – Family gatherings, Parents’ Night Out, Friends’ Evening, birthday parties. If you have an idea, we can collaborate to make it happen!
I am available to teach privately one-on-one and in groups in the setting of your choosing, virtually or at Aditi Yoga and Wellness in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle.
