Did you know that yoga can help children to manage anxiety and improve emotional regulation? In addition, it improves physical development such as strength, flexibility and coordination. It also helps with mental development including enhancing memory, concentration, mindfulness and self-esteem.
Yoga is therapeutic by nature. It can help a person physically,
mentally and spiritually. In targeted therapeutic yoga I aim to alleviate a specific problem by applying techniques of yoga
along with other modalities such as Qi Gong and drawing from my 20 years of experience as an occupational therapist. I work with physical limitations due to injury, surgery, pregnancy, a health condition, age or limited practice space.
